Student Services

The Communications Unit, Division of Information Services, provides network services to the University.

To use most services you will need a user ID and a password (UniPass).

Your user ID is your student number with the letter "z" in front (for example z1234567, where 1234567 would be replaced by your student number). Your student number will be provided by the Student office.

Prospective (not yet enrolled) students who have been given a student number can create a UniPass for themselves, BUT will only have access to myUNSW

Enrolled students may obtain passwords by attending DIS><Connect - the student IT help desk - at the back of the main library. Students at CoFA and ADFA may obtain passwords from local IT support staff. You may change your password using an online page.

Access to services other than myUNSW requires that you view and accept a set of "conditions of use".
